An incredible building with an incredible history is home to the best BBQ in Austin. Built in 1869 by a former slave named George Franklin, and home to the first African-American owned business in Austin, the edifice was an honor to work on. We tried to stay true to it’s history, and the antique back bar helps to create the vintage feel.
